Niemat Ahmadi
Survivor of the Darfur genocide
Niemat founded the Darfur Women Action Group in 2009 after escaping Sudan, determined to build an organization centered on the women of Darfur. She was honored as one of President George W. Bush’s 8 Global Human Rights Fighters in 2008.
