Darfur Women Action Group envisions a world where justice for all, equal rights and the respect for human dignity is the primordial ethic.
Darfur Women Action Group (DWAG) is a U.S. based advocacy group. Both Darfuri and women-led,
DWAG works with victims and survivors of the Darfur genocide in the diaspora and back
home in Sudan, providing them with access to tools that will enable them to lead the effort to combat violence, address grave human rights abuses and work with others to prevent future atrocities and promote global peace. The core priority for DWAG lies in advancing human rights and supporting Darfuri interests to meet the challenges of the 21st Century. We do this by supporting women NGOs at the grassroots and national level in the US and on the ground in Darfur, building their capacity to lead desirable change and in turn providing opportunities for the international community to hear directly from those most affected by the conflict.
